Typically, the fruit of the coffee plant contains two seeds (beans) with flattened, facing sides. Occasionally, only one seed is fertilized, allowing it to develop into a unique oval or pea-shaped form known as a peaberry. Representing about 5% of harvested coffee beans, peaberries offer a distinct flavor profile. This coffee brews into a clean, medium-bodied cup with bright citrus notes and a soft, gentle character, delivering exceptional brightness and balance.
